Nice rig btw. Post some PICS of that beast!

It would be killer if you got the new MACH II GT to go with it!

How are you going to setup your 4 raptors?

Please tell us what can you possible do with 4Gb of memory???

WOW! Half the system's cost must have gone in the ram alone. Gotta see some pics of this thing.

Actually, I don't envy your computer.

Let me explain:

The four raptors will be VERY noisy, and very hot. If you RAID them, then you'll take the risk of losing all of your data.

The ASETEK WATERCHILL (note: Vapochill is by asetek, it's not its own company) will probably be pretty underpowered.

4 gigs EXTREMELY overkill. Right now, anything over 1 GB is overkill. It's never going to be used. It's a waste of money. The PC4400 runs at VERY high timings, and the actual MHz speed of the RAM probably won't be utilized to its full potential anyway. Not to mention the PHAT LEDs.

Thermaltake Xaser is extremely gaudy.

The 9800XT is nice, though. As is the FX-53.

I'm just telling you that you should think before you throw all your money away. This is a good example to show how getting the best parts on the market doesn't always make a good PC.

I'm not trying to rag on you, or sound condescending, I'm just trying to point out an error. If you value your money, you'd give some thought before you buy.

But if money is no object, have fun!

Exactly. No one on these forums buys an $850 processor and most people here know better than to think they need 4gb of ram. I'm surprised you had as many people going as you did.
