I have an Abit NF7-S v.2 , Mobile Athlon 2600+, and Mushkin Special 2-2-2 pc3200 dual pack. It runs very well at 12x200, 1.7 vcore, 2.7 vdimm, 1.6 vdd. The problem is when ever I try a fsb higher than 400 (200x2) , I just get a black screen and have to shut down and clear cmos. I have tried 11.5x205 w/ vdimm @2.9 and it still wont boot. I have read where ppl are getting 205-225 out of this ram. What am I doing wrong? My temps never go over 44c even under load.

What cooling, PSU, are you using?

You might need higher vcore or temp's might be to high.

I increased my vdmm to 2.9 and vdd to 1.7, vcore is 1.75 and it runs good at 209. (209x2) 418 fsb). 5-2-2-2 mem settings. Now if I try 210 or higher, when It is booting up, the screen before windows boots says 418 fsb. Its like it wont go to 420 no matter what I set the fsb at. Is this where thre 5/4, 5/4 , 6/5, 5/6 settings come in to get the ram to run higher?

Those set FSB numbers in bios are only guidelines. The real speed will not be exactly 210Mhz but somewhere very close. To see what the real speed is download CPUz (google, free util) and run and it'll tell you lots. Try 211Mhz.
