Hello,
In windows 2000 server there was an option to set up a ftp server.
Now I'm runing windows 2003 server and i cant fand where to set up a ftp server.
Does anyone know where to set it up??

Thanks in advance :D

Umm probably you can go to Add/Remove Programs, then choose the Windows Components, the FTP server options should be under Internet Information Services.

After that you should check Microsoft's site for documentation on how to set it up.

No there is no option to install a ftp server.
Already checked it with the add/remove programs

yes, it comes preinstalled with windows unless you installed it funky, go to control panel, administrative tools, IIS, and it will be right in there. unless you are using a 3rd party program you need to setup a windows account for each ftp username/password you want to create. i perosnally don't like the IIS 5/6 FTP server, i use raidenFTPD

A windows account for eachftp username/password.
No so interesting. Back To the ols Serv-U
