My processor is shooting up and down.. and has stayed at 82* Celcius for a long time.. The diode or whatever has to be off or something.. I have 6 case fans, a PSU fan, and the STOCk heatsink and fan.. and its not overclocked at all.

Any reason why it'd be running so hot all of a sudden?

Only reason it would all of a sudden be running so hot(assuming it runs cooler normally) is if the CPU Fan Has a short or has quit working altogether. I would take a multimeter with a Thermometer sensor that you know works accurately and use it to test the temps. That should be your first step. Be sure to keep an eye on the HSF while you're testing.

HSF is still working fine.. and it ran at about 55 full load earlier today ( I havent shut the pc off and worked on it at all) and now its running 82 full load...

So, i take it that it would be wise to shut it off?

Tomorrow Im gonna get to the bottom of this, it just froze up at 90* CELCIUS
WTF??????????

Ugh.. surely a non oced 2.4 shouldnt be runnin that hot...
