How to use multipliers past 12.5?

Hey, on my Epox 8RDA+, I can't do over 170 fsb, which ****es me off, but at least I can adjust the multiplier. My duron will boot to the post screen at 12.5x200 with 1.75 volts in the bios. The comp never makes it through loading xp though. The system is only stable at 170 fsb, which is the motherboard's problem. I would try volt modding the chipset voltage, but I couldn't afford a failure. The problem with the multipliers higher than 12.5 is that it goes to default multiplier 10.5 except for 20 which goes to 11 multiplier. I know I have a good chip, I was able to run it well in my stepdad's computer, but now I want it to be brought to its full potential on my own hardware. The problem with buying a better motherboard is that I won't settle for anything without the mcp-t southbridge, and they are very pricey for me right now. I have two, but on one I can't cange multi, and the other I can't get high fsb.

Any ways on getting more multis without too much of a hassle?

I tried it but the computer wouldn't boot, not even after clearing the cmos too. I checked it again to make sure it was correct, but It failed to go to the post screen. I got scared that I fried something, but after removing it, it is back to normal. I did have to re-activate windows because of it though.

I guess I'll give up on inserting anything into the socket for a while. It took me forever to get it in just right. I can't imagine what five wires would take.

Well if you are going for the higher multis and not lowering your FSB even if you are doing the wire mod correctly you probably wont boot because the frequency is too high - irrespective of whether you are seeking the higher or lower multis you should try boot up initially at 100FSB to see what multi you are getting.
