I'm putting together a new system for a business and am looking to do it as cheaply as possible. I would like to hit around 1 Ghz and am looking into a motherboard with everything on board. Any suggestions for what I should get as far as the parts are concerned? It will just be running Office and Windoze.

Thanks for the help

The Asus A7S-VM is right up your alley. Includes on-board NIC, Vidcard and Soundcard. And all of the built-in features work, too. Mine was less than $100 including tax, at a local retailer. They are cheaper at etailers, of course.

This board hosts Durons/T-Birds, and will run the 266 Mhz T-Birds just fine.

If you decide to build a AMD box, remember that 100 cfm through the case is pretty much mandatory. This may make an AMD box too loud for a biz environment.
