My computer contains an Asus P4-800 motherboard with an M-Revolution sound card that has a coaxial digital output.

I have installed windows xp and the sp1a patch. I cannot get windows to output digital sound to my reciever via the coaxial cable. Has anybody else had a similar problem?

I read somewhere that digital sound out wasn't enabled in the base windows xp and that sp1 would fix it. It's kind of annoying that I can't use my sound system on my new computer yet.

And yes, I do have the digital connection set to coaxial on my reciever :)
