I just curious to know what is the physical difference of a 9800se 256bit to a 9800pro?

But is that all are the memory the same, is the 9800 se a 9800pro with less pipelines?

the 4 pipeline stuff is through a bios setting. so its easy to enable.

read some of the last pages of the softmod faq, there's an explination of the different se models.

in short, the powercolor 98se-c3 is a full speed 9800pro, with the sammy 2.8 ns ram, the only difference is the bios setting that disables the pipes.

I heard there is but it's just as successful as the softmod, if the softmod doesn't work the hardmod will probably not work because it may be that the extra pipes are not working properly.
