simple BIOS question

i'd like to know if it's better to update the bios "version by version"
or all at once. Example: lets say i have bios version 1 and the latest
version is 2.1, is it better to update directly to 2.1 or 1.1 and then 1.2,
1.3 ... etc until i get to 2.1?

The newest version. You end up with all the changes and have less of a chance of a bad flash doing it 1 time.
