reallyy quick question

I jsut got an slk 900A and i am about to install it. Do I use the four cushion pads to put on the base becasue on the arctyic silver instructions website it says to remove any thermal pads before installation.

Use the pads...they are so the SLK-900 doesnt crush the core...

There was a guy a few days ago who was taking those pads and putting AS5 on them so they transferred heat as well. I suppose that you could give that a try and see if it works
