Could some body explain how these work or give me a link to a good explanation please.
also in what order would i have to put it in my system e.g cpu-pelt-water block?

You most certainly need watercooling for CPU and peltier combos, you might get away with it on air with GPUs.

ok this is a guick guide.

THe pelt goes on your water block and then there is a cold plate that holds the plate to the water block. You need to get another power supply. Alot bigger then normal depending on what size of pelts you run http://www.swiftnets.com/ check that link for the power supply. I am going to attach a pic to help you a little. I have to give the credit to Maximus_OC he did the pic first i just added a few things to it. The two things circled in red is the Pelt, the cold plate is blue. The cold plate is gold. Hope this helps.
