have a P4 3.2 Northwood on msi 865 neo board w/ocz pc3700 rev 2 ram

cpu is cooled by a corsair hydrocool

have 5 panaflo 5000 rpm fans in case

problem...when overclocked to 230 fsb or highest i have gone(240) computer boots and i can pass memtest no problem

but i get blue screen after 10-45 minutes when running windows programs

my cpu temps read between 50-60 celsius under load according to mbm5 at 230-240 fsb

225 is stable and what my everyday speed is at(47 idle,52 under load) but i was hoping with this new ram to see if i could get it to 235-240 stable

no luck so far, have tried 1.7 volts cpu(highest i went) but no luck

is there something i am missing? or is 225 fsb all this chip has to offer at 1:1

i just feel there is something that i am missing...

thank you for the idea, forgot to mention vdimm is at 2.9 and passes memtest with no errors

think its all cpu related or motherboard... any1 else have any thoughts?

i know its luck at times with overclocking but had hoped some1 with a P4 3.2 might have run into a hurdle or too along the way and had some insight into y I cant get higher than 225 fsb...
