InstallShield won't install anymore

applications that use installshield don't work anymore. They load to 100%, then disappear. This is all I see, the bar goes all the way to the right and disappears.

here is a link to their site support faq.

http://consumer.installshield.com/

There could be other problems, what do your system and app logs say about this?

If your on 2k you can try updating the windows installer here
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...2-DE3BB768148F

If XP try a restore or SFC scan.

Also if you have messed with permissions and removed everyone you can get an error like this.

try updating windows installer program. if it fails with an error like something is corrupt you need to reinstall the OS or try a restore from earlier backup (since windows installer is used for everything) also check for an update for installshield itself.
