Question Can't find any 226w peltiers on ebay, 2x 170w?

The highest rated pelt on ebay is this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...810236454&rd=1

I did some checking on the specs, and it's not even really 170watt, more like 130......

What about running 2 of these pelts, 1 on top of the other? Would it be very inefficient due to the contact between the pelts?

Thanks

you never want to run a peltier on top of another unless the one thats being cooled by the other is less than half the heat output, and then it becomes pointless, you would want to run them side by side. I would just suggest you go visit dangerden or swiftech and purchase one from them.

You would basically be screwing yourself. The top pelter would have to be dealing with both the output of the CPU and other Pelt. It would get over loaded, become hotter than hell. Overload the other pelt and cause a heating effect on your core. Basically its not a good idea.
