My K7D is currently out for repair, and I was considering some upgrades.

I currently, er, was, rather, running two XP1600's with 1x512mb PC2100 (no overclocking).

All the reading I've been doing on the Mobile XP2500's has my mouth watering! They seem to overclock like monsters and the thought of dual 2.4's is pretty exciting :)

Thing is, I don't want to spend $500 for new Ram and 2 of the CPUs.

NCIX has the CPUs on sale until tomorrow for $119 CAD - is this a good price? If I were to wait a little while, is there any danger of stock running out, or prices going up? The regular was around $140 CAD.

Also, how would these overclock with my PC2100 RAM? Again, I don't have the funds right now to pick up some $200 RAM...

Advice - should I grab the processors at $119 now and hold off on RAM, or is it safe to just wait it out, knowing that the CPUs wont disappear or go up in price.

Thanks mates.
