!Hola senores y senoritas!

I need your help. Don´t know which drive to buy... and don´t know nothing about the S-ATA, UATA, U133 - Stuff (only thing I know: At this moment I have an IBM 40 GB and a Maxtor 80 GB (each 7200rpm) both running UDMA-5).

Following offers:

Maxtor Diamondmax Plus9 U133 200GB 7200rpm 8MB Cache - 130 Euro

WD S-ATA Caviar Special ED 200GB 8MB Cache 8,9ms 7200rpm WD2000JD - 140 Euro

WD Caviar 200GB 2MB Cache 8,9ms 7200rpm WD2000BB - 120 Euro

WD Caviar 160GB 8MB Cache 8,9ms 7200rpm WD1600JB - 97 Euro

Hitachi Vancouver III 160GB 8MB Cache U100 - 95 Euro

If the information is needed:
I´m using my Computer for gaming about 70 % of the time (=much install&uninstall :D). The rest surfing around and working for school.

Thank you

I would get the WD 160Gb, unless you want to spend more for the extra 40 Gb (it's cheaper than later getting a 40Gb drive or somthing), then I would get the 200Gb Maxtor.

You probably don't need even 160Gb for just general stuff and gaming though, so over that (or even that) is probably overkill.

Good choice, I would have gone with either the 200Gb or the 160Gb Western Digital drives, but the extra cache on the 160Gb disk would have got my vote, good call :)
