Need some help

I resently reformatted my HDD and am using NTFS,well now when I type something,like in the log on box and,on any site including this one,I have to type the hole thing,I cannot get it to remember it for the next time I log on,can anyone help me with this??
By the way I am using Windows XP Home..

for internet explorer, click tools/internet options/content/autocomplete from here, you should able to figure out how to do
