network keeps resseting...

Ok, Im getting annoyed of this. My network keeps on disconnecting me mostly at startup. I can get online for a few seconds, then my network connection is lost. Then I have to unplug the ethernet cable running to my computer to "reset" my connection so i can get online again. Its a pain cuz of the location of my computer. Im running an onboard ethernet connection to a dlink 614+ router w/ cable internet. I've already update all the drivers needed for the ethernet. Can anyone think of anything else?

Mine also does this, but I'm running WI-FI.
