P4P800 DLX, Windows has encountered an error.....

My friend is using P4P800 Deluxe, the problem is, during windows startup, Windows XP poped up an error "windows has encountered an error........" we tried to reinstall Windows, update all of the drivers flashed bios swap all of the hardware including harddisk, psu, vga, ram, even cd drive and floppy drive bla..bla... still with no luck. prime tested, memtest86 and burn in test with sisoft sandra for more than 24 hours, nothing happened, no error. But when we restarted again, it poped up the f*** error. When I swap my mobo with his, the problem gone... what the hell is going on with his modo??? (he is running at stock speed and cooler)

Is your buddy using VIA RAID by any chance.

its prolly the mobo...

He's only using single hard disk drive.

I also think the mobo is causing the problem. but why is it error free when running prime95 and memtest86 and only error while on windows startup?
