HI All

My uncle has a geforce256 that he needs to upgrade (getting a bit dated) and he has decided on a Geforce 128Mb FX5600 64bit 8x agp

Will this be a worthwhile upgrade on his system below
not sure what mobo he has but it agp only supports 1x 2x 4x

P4 1.5Ghz
128MB rambus
Windows Millenium

Weill he see a big performance difference with this new card?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Chad

well, first thing i'd do is get rid of Windows ME.
i've got the 256mb version of that card running in my slower computer (Athlon Xp 2400). it works very nice if you dont play games on high settings, now my Fx 5900 on the other hand is great with any game on high settings (havent tried Far Cry on it though)

If he doesn't play much games, the 64-bit memory version will work. Another 128MB stick of RDRAM would be nice- if you can find it cheap enough.
