Active X?

When i try to download certain files with IE, i get a popup that says my security settings prohibit ActiveX from running...or something like that. I have changed the settings to every different configuration and tried resetting to defaults. any ideas what i can do?

Did you try Internet Security at Default set to Low? That should allow all active-X through. Do you have a firewall set up to block active-X?

You need to look through your security settings for your computer. Open IE and go to Tools -> Internet Settings -> Security. From there you'll need to select where you're downloading from (probably Internet), and then check the security settings by selecting "Custom Level". From there you can check out the ActiveX (and other) settings and any restrictions that may be in place.
