I have a Barton 2800+, A7N8X 333FSB MoBo, and 512 MB of pc2100 (266mhz) RAM. IS the Ram going to down-clock the entire system to 266 or will the processor and CPU work at 333? Cheers.

welcome to the forum
no the ram is not going to down-clock the entire system u can run the cpu at 166fsb and the ram at 83%=133mhz
but this is highly unrecommanded nforce mobo like your will run fast in sysnc mode (fsb/ram)
so if you are looking for performance get pc 2700(333)to run in sync mode
if you want oc the chip get pc 3200
