hi all just a quick question. It is hot today, and I noticed my gpu temps about 3 degrees higher than normal. I have been overclocking so my AGP voltage is set to 1.7 or 1.8 from 1.5. Does increasing that voltage increase GPU temps?

Also is there a critical ATI 9800 temp that I should avoid at all cost?

Increasing the AGP voltage DOES NOT increase the voltage going to the GPU...all this does is provide more voltage to the AGP slot for stability when running a high FSB...

So all you are really doing is adding more heat to the VC when running past 1.5 or 1.6v...if the AGP does not need the extra voltage...

I have to run at 1.6v for the AGP to be stable at 200FSB...I have to up to 1.7 when running past 240FSB...

BTW what gpu were you using for those 3D marks?

I was using my old 9800 Pro that would do 500/390 without a V mod and air cool...sold it too a member and now running my GF3 Ti200 until my new Pro gets here...hopefully tomorrow...

And I own 3 glocks...19, 21, and the baby 26...
