debian ICMP message

Well I just net installed debian, now on the console the message 192.168.0.1 send an invalid ICMP type 11, code 0 to a broadcast 192.168.0.255 on eth0 appears like every 5 seconds, what is it and how do I fix it, (apparently type 11 is time exceeded)

probably set wrong options in either /etc/network/interfaces or a slightly misconfigured dhcp server
