I was browsing newegg, and being on a budget like I am, I was intrigued by the 2.5-3-3-8 timimng of the TwinMOS. Are these modules any good? I am not too bright about memory so I need all the help I can get. You can check out their stuff here .

If this is garbage or mediocre, what is a good buy for $100 budget ( I want 512mb), It is for the system in my sig ( barton one )

Thanks

well 87$ for 512 thats what im going to get and try to run it at 2-3-3-6. At that price I can buy 6x for a couple sysytems instead of 125 or more.

Don't bother overclocking TwinMOS with mtec chips - change the timings, no boot - bump the FSB up a few MHz above 200, no boot. Raise the voltage and try again, no boot.

Doesn't take overclocking too well :-/

This is with an A7N8X-D and 2x256 sticks.
