Im looking into getting one, but the lowest price ive seen is like $360 (for a pro), which isnt a bad deal, but anything cheaper would be nice. anyone got any good link/coupons? thanx

Don't even bother looking for the XT. You can mod Pros to it so save yourself some cash.

Not all of them do the mod though. Plus, the XT comes with faster memory, iirc.

Yea, I understand that. It just sounded like you were saying any pro would be exactly the same as an XT after the mod. And that isn't true, I just didn't want him to get the wrong impression is all.

www.ecost.com had them for 360, best deal ive seen. except for that one on ebay, but that must have been a mistake. heres the link:

There has not been a larger enough base of success for this mod to claim you can pick an pro and mod it to an XT. I'm going to hold out for pci express and pick up the XT when both are available. Hopefully around Xmas!
