Need A DVD authoring Program To DO The Following

I want the menue screen to play a short 5 second video, then have it freeze frame, then have my buttons fade in, is there a program that will allow me to do this, cost really inst an issue, and preferably allow me to have random menues everytime the dvd is started (is this possible?!!). Thnx

Yah Ulead DVD Workshop does the trick. My brother has a copy and can make DVD menus like you're describing. Took him a bit to figure it out but he got it down. You can do some very very cool stuff with that software.

im currently using that, but am a total n00b with the software, can you tell me how or point me to some tuts, all the tust use photoimpact which i do not own.

Haven't used the software myself so I couldn't give any personal pointers. I'll check with my bro and see if he has anything or if he just learned it on his own. I think that's what he did anyway but I'll check.
