I'm building myself a new system, and I have a question about the memory. I have 2 sticks of 512mb pc 3200 ram on order from NewEgg, but I have 2 sticks of 256 SDRAM left over from my older, much crappier system. My MOBO has 4 RAM slots, would it even be worth the trouble to install the 2 older sticks? Thanx in advance!

Most likely not, and dont owrry there are never dumb quetions, there are on the other hand dumb people but dumb questions dotn always quarrelate to dumb people.

SDRAM will not fit in ddr slots anyways so dont worry about it.

EDIT

oh yeah

Thanks for the advice and the welcome, I built my computer but I used ancient components left over from my roomate's PC building projects. now that I have some money and new components, I'll probably be visiting this board quite often.
