Obviously we all know that the most coveted memory chips are the BH-5. The successor to the BH-5 is the 6 and they're pretty good too. But what are some of the "sleeper" chips that tend to overclock well and that are cheaper? Is there anything out there that we should know about? We should make a list of the higher performing chips out there (and where to find 'em and the cost) so that we know what to look for!!!!

1 bt/ctd43 chips in pc2700/3200 kvr ram will run 260+ at 3-4-4-8/2.5-4-4-7
2.adata pc4000/hyperram adatapc4200 both are cheap run same timings as above
and are fast especially the hyperram(285+).
3 samsumg pc3700 will run to 250+
4 micron pc3200 with the 46v32m8 -5b chips same used in the ocz eb series.
will run 250-260 at 3-2-3-6 at 3.2volts..

dont forget to mention for number 2. thats hynix d5 ic's

btw you seen any differances between the vitesta and the hyperam in oc ability?

oops forgot that one

my impression is since the hyperram is speed tested youll get a better average overclock. seems like everyone is getting between 285/295 which is really excellent for 265.00 a gig
