samsung 710N vs 173S

Hi all,

I'm shopping for an lcd monitor and will most likely get a 17 inch since they seem to get the most bang for the buck. I've seen the following two samsungs selling for roughly the same price but I don't know which one is better.

Is one newer?
Does one have more features?
What are your opinions on these two monitors?
Do you have any other suggestions besides these two monitors?

Any help would be appreciated.

173S:
