Two piece thermalright clip

I asked for a replacement clip for my ALX-800 because I bent the other one, and the one I got has two pieces with 4 different positions... anyone know how this thing goes together? I'm completely clueless... don't see how it will work.

crap - I'll have to post a picture if I can't figure it out. The clip is in two different pieces... never seen anything like it. One end is like an arrowhead and the other has 4 holes, none of which seem like they'll work right...
