i saw an image of 20k once (thats right, over 20,000...) Most i have ever seen in person was in the 300 to 500 range though.

I reformatted my family's computer about 3 weeks ago.

On Monday I ran Ad-aware and I found like 980 something. Yea, 24 virus' and they were all under my sister's name. She's a ****ing moron when it comes to computers.

I remember seeing that image a while ago, and thought it smelled a bit off. Taking a closer look now, the numbers seem a bit too clear when compaired to the text beside them.

Also, the numbers on the left-hand side (running processes etc) seem to be overlapping the border by a bit.

does look kinda suspicious, but teh # overlapping is probably because its not intended to find THAT many at a time lol..

That's the nice thing about spybot search & destroy; the innoculate function prevents the installation in the first place. (I believe the ad-aware full version has this feature as well).

LOL 1 day our techs at BB were tuning up a guys pc and they found over 70K things of spyware and 23 viruses..It was funny.
