unlock amd barton

what is the easiest way and safest way to unlock an AMD 2500+ barton so i can overclock it?

If your barton is locked, its superlocked and you cannot unlock it. You can change the fsb though, even if it is. Most boards can do 220fsb fairly easily(my A7N8X did 245 w/o mods w/pc3200) so 220x11=2420mhz. I doubt you can go any higher with a desktop chip anyway.
