Is it the case or the mobo?

I have an Evercase 4252 and an Abit NF7-S.

The intake holes on the side of the case are about an inch lower than the CPU socket, but they intake is in the correct location horizontaly.

Which is messed-up: the location of the CPU socket on the motherboard or the location of the holes on the case?

Thanks

Neither. The case manufactuer probally just guessed as to where most CPU sockets are. Look at any MB, there is no standard. All mine are different. I must have 12 different holes drilled in the back of my case for accessing WB bolts.

Not much you can do about it. Even if its off an inch or two, I doubt that it makes a huge difference at all.
