k8n raid problem

has anyone had trouble installing windows with a raid stripe on this board? after formatting the disk windows asks for nforce raid driver (scsi) the disks in, it just wont have it.

thats what it was, downloaded drivers and its sorted.

No problem,did you go to Nvidia web site to download the driver, if so which one was it under, the utility. I am waiting for my K8N board and plan on a raid 0 on two 74gig Raptor.If you can , can you post the link for the driver.

no, i got them fromn msi, http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/driver/dvr/spt_dvr_detail.php?UID=572&kind=1

i copied the files from the folder and put the on a floppy, im not used to the board yet, a lot of new stuff, the audio is crap, optical connection is terrible, im getting a soundcard instead, wish it had soundstorm, nevermind.

Yeah this was a wierd decision on MSI's behalf, but in the instructions it does say that you need to make a disk using the cd-rom that they've provdied. All the files you need are also in a folder on the disk just an fyi.
