Every processor has a wide variety of errata, and just about all of them are very unlikely to occur.

Here's a list of errata in the AMD Opteron/A64 processors.

Yes, that'd been posted plenty of times - the problem with the hard drive hanging isn't with the Prescott processor itself - it's a defective batch of ICH6 southbridge chips in the i915 and i925 chipsets. They've apparently all been taken out of the market, and new southbridges are in the distribution channels.

Inquirer, as usual, not getting enough information before they start running their mouths about things.
