anyone know how to reset the MBR??

Is it possible to reset/repair the MBR??? I remember a certain bootdisk command that would do something like that... I'm not exactly sure, that is why I emplore you wise people of the ocforums to help me out. Is there a nice proggy out there that has some nice MBR code in it??? Or am I thinking of the File System Boot sector?? THanks....

Well you can't really reset the mbr, but you can issue a fixmbr command in recovery console:

FixMBR

Fdisk /mbr

Fdisk has an undocumented parameter called /mbr that causes it to write the master boot record to the hard disk without altering the partition table information.
