I had a bad flash on a bios chip the other day.

P/S quit at the wrong time. :temper:

I have a new chip from excaliberpc now. - going to install it tonight
& get pc up & running.

So, just incase i FUBAR another bios by accident, I want to hotflash
the old chip so it works again.

Problem is, I have no idea of how to do this. :-/ or am REALLY unsure.

I install the new chip, boot into a boot disk (dos)
remove the good bios chip & install the bad one.

-how am I doing so far? Is this correct?

Once the bad chip is in, run the flash util on the bad chip
& falsh a good bios on it it & volia~ ?

??????????

Any help would be appreciated.

I really don't like this shuttle mobo I borrowed.
