I know that by opening and closing bridges on a athlon xp I'm able to make it a xp-m or a mp, can the same be done with a xp-m and make it a normal xp? I'm asking because if I don't get a a64( because of all different sockets I think i'll be waiting until it's all sorted out)this summer I'll get a xp-m and I wanted to make it a normal xp so windows and motherboard reconize it as an xp.

It is just that a the unknown cpu thing would really bother me but since their is a chance of killing the chip I won't try it, by the way will amd really be changing to a socket 900 in 2005?
