has anyone tried media player 10? i installed it awhile ago, installed SP2, and its stuck on 9. I reinstalled it again, opened it, and it opened 9. What the heck is going on here?

WMP10 installs, but reverts back to WMP9 instantly

i installed it on a test computer running winxp pro sp2 rc1 and it installed just fine and ran.
are you sure its still WMP9 and not 10 because they do look the same i think

no they don't, the links for my library etc are at the top with 10, and with 9 they are at the top. The buttons are more rounded, and the color is different, a lighter blue

yea i had 10 work once and it looked nice.
