OK maybe a noob question about the Epox EP-8KDA3J board.

ok i currently have the nf7-s rev. 2.0 board and my mobile 2500 in my system.

i just bought the Epox EP-8KDA3J mobo and the athlon 64 3200 with the new heatsink, my questionis can i just take my nf7-s and chip and sp-97 put and just replace them? will i have to reformat? thanks for any help.

Its best that you reformatt ur hdd and reinstall windows for best stability.

As for the bios, here are some. Page 2 also has another bios. Do not use that bios tho the 06/24 bios is crap it makes the cpu vcore go down alot. You set it to 1.55v inthe bios and youll get around 1.43-1.4v, I like the 05/05 bios and the 06/30 bios.

or you could do this and not have to reformat. Goto control panel , system , device manager and set your IDE controllers to standard ones provided by windows install the new hardware and setup all your drivers and your should be set.

how od i change them to standard , it doesnt give me any options that says standard
