I dont know about you guys, but doing FTP installs of linux ill take ANY day over downloading all the CDs and burning it. Sure its slow, but it updates so nicely.
Anyways, so far ive FTP installed Mandrake, SuSE and i almost want to say debian..i cant remember..now im a linux NOOB. For some reason mandrake 10 doesnt work anymore but whatever.
The only aggervating thing is going around, finding the boot.iso for every distro, burning it, then finding the FTP server for your exact distro.
So one day while fighting with mandrake, i just thought...why not be able to tell it what version/distro of linux your trying to install?
Also if it could configure the DHCP as easily as SuSE did thatd be awsome.
