3d mark 2001 score..... >:(

Exclamation 3d mark 2001 score..... >:(


ok, i have a duron 800@800 256mb ram i just intsalled win me and the latest detonator drivers, and directx 8.0a all running on a MSI Geforce 2 Pro 32mb.... i ran 3d mark at 640x480 16bit color. and after about 10mins of testing i got the amazing score of

831

i highly doubt this is correct, any suggestions/recomendations other than switching back to my TNT 16mb card

change the compressed option to 16 bit if thats the color youre gonna run in. Also what drivers did u use id reccommednthe 12.90's over clock the card and, make sure your at 4x AGP...Hope for hte best i get over 2500 with a tbird 750 and pc100 ram

i set all the settings to lowest values.. i have 256mb pc-133 cas 2 memory.

as you suggested 4x agp is probally the problem, that's what i was thinking as well anyone know how i would check to see if the card is running at 4x, i checked my bios and 4x is enabled i just have no way of knowing if the card is using 4x....

Upgrade to Athlon TBird too. A 900MHz chip doesn't cost much these days.

Also try lowering your Graphics Aperature in BIOS, 32 is a good setting for me... You can play with this, on one end, the CPU does most of the work, and on the other the Graphics card does most of the work... find a good balance and use 3d mark 2000, it's better. i get 2700-ish in 3d mark 2000.. my stuff's in my sig:

Somethings wrong if you only get 2700 in 2000. I get over 5500.
