Connecting to the interent with linux.

Hello.

I was just wondering how i connect my computer to the internet with linux, I use a canadian service provider (sympatico). Some people i know called sympatico and asked them how but they answered that they did not give technial support to linux users, they did mention it was compatable and that it could be done but refused to say how.

When I got my model it came with an installation cd (programe that allows you to connect). If anyone could help me and my freind this would be great.

its a dsl ppoe connection... Ill look at the link thanks

try knoppix. AFAIR there is a configuration tool for PPoE authentification.
