Ok, so I bought the newegg special of chaintech sk8t800 an newcastle 2800+ for $213... sold the sk8t800 on ebay for $70 and bought a refurbed abit kv8 pro for $93. Unfortunatly it is a revicion 1.0 and even the 1.5 beta bios wont allow me to lock the agp/pci to 66/33, I got past this by going back to the 1.4 bios and using the 4/8 divider. Im now rock stable @ 275mhz fsb ( with stock 2800 multi of 9 that gives me 2475mhz but mbm5 reads 2479mhz) memory is running at 225 @ 2.5 cas, I did this by using the ddr333 divider. Heres the results.................
not bad for $236 plus tax.
All this is on stock cooling, once I get better cooling I think I can get it up to 2600mhz.
