We all no that intel has a lock on there new chips but to companys have broken that lock Abit and Asus at this point ASUS is a little more overclock able, the real story here is that there is no PCI express lock yet so that give problem both comapanys have found ways around this those but the video card does matter. Nvidias HIS chips dont like overclocking and fail at 258FSB but ATI goes to the max the reason is that they have a true PCIE core and not a bridge. The full story is here http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=2124
