i just downloaded a movie off the web (legal one) and it came in like little segments (bout 14mb a piece) that are named .r00 .r01 .r02 and so on so forth, what do i do to make these alike avi or mpeg so i can play em with a player?

actually, that's very easy

.r00 .r01 are all winrar files... its a form of compression... download winrar from http://www.rarlab.com/ they just split it into 15mb segments.... once you have winrar installed, extract either from the .rar file, or if it doesn't exist, from the .r00

you shouldn't have any problems with that

There ought to be a .Cue file as well. When you open up Nero, there's like 'Recorder' menu at the top. Click burn Image, and find the .cue.

What website is legally giving out movies in rar format? ;)

forget the .cue ... just change the extension and it will burn fine... i've done that EVERY TIME and never had a problem
