Is it Ok to control your fan speed using SpeedFan on NF7-S

I was considering switching from MB5 to Speed fan because I like the ability to control your fan speed through the software. I was wondering if anyone has had any problem with using the software on the NF7-S and could this hurt the MB in some way?

I would like to control my CPU fan (Panaflo 92x25 High speed) with the software, this way I don't have to worry about the family members turning off the CPU fan with a conventional fan controller.

I figure its better to ask then be sorry :)

Yeah, it's OK, IF the program works well on your board.

I used it on my Asus A7N8X-Deluxe with no problems at all.
With my NF7-S the range of fan speeds is completely whacked out....really works poorly.

On my NF7 the fan speed doesn't start decreasing until around 40%. You don't have as precise control as a rheobus, but Speed Fan works.
