A friend of mine was unlucky flashing the mainboard, now the mainboad is usesless it won post or do anything else...
do yo guys any way to put it working again????

Oooooooooo, that sucks. The only way I know to fix this is to either get a new BIOS chip from Asus, or re-flash it in somebody else's board of the same type. I really don't think that there is any way to do it without taking apart the system completely.

Did the power go out mid-flash or something?

no the only problem was that he flashed it with a *.zip file... really worng thing to do...

Heh, yeah, burning the wrong stuff to a ROM is bad

. Maybe try and return it for a new one? A little unethical tho....

ha, my mobo has a dual boot option, only problem is that aopen didnt give me the second bios, hense the name option
