Will VGA Silencer rev 3 fit?

Hey guys, just bought this: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=14-102-361&depa=1

Does anyone know for sure if the VGA Silencer rev. 3 will fit it? I want to flash the card to an XT and adding a Silencer seems the best way to get temps low enough for succesful overclock/flash. Thanks for help.

Oops....didnt see that and allready ordered. Oh well, this is the last upgrade for my system anyway, next time will be complete overhaul, so its all good.

Okay, got everything today, and noticed something odd. My 9800 has 16 memory chips. 8 on each side. All the other cards I have seen have 4. Will the VGA Silencer still fit? And what does this mean in terms of odds of flashing it to an XT?

you should be able to flash it... check the core... more than likely you have the r360 core.

Yeah, I couldnt wait so removed the stock fan/hs and found a R360 core

Decided to go with flash (had to use one for 2.5 Hynix memory, couldnt find 2.8) and everything is working fine so far. VGA Silencer went on no problem, one of the easiest mods ever.

Will VGA Silencer rev 3 fit?
